knocking and shaking

So, a day or two I noticed I could hear my car making a light knock underneath by my tire but didn't think anything of it. Today I noticed the problem was way worse (usually my music is too loud to notice any noises) this noise had progressed. It is a loud knock it seems. What I think i have deducted is that the noise gets much quite if not goes away while accelerating but returns when I left off gas. It also makes sounds rolling in neutral. The noise slows down when I slow down and up when I speed up. Sometimes it seems that if I turn the wheel just right it stops. The noise is a clunk clunk noise that is persistent and it shakes my wheel and pedals a little. It seems to be getting worse.

I'm gonna remove tires and jack it up tomorrow. What do you think I should be looking for? Axle problems?
