The Yaris has a timing chain, so it wouldn't burn up. Can you tell if it's and electrical burn smell, or a rubber type smell?

I had my brakes done on the Blazer one time and the guys who did it completely screwed the pooch, and gave me a burning smell until I had it fixed. Have those done recently?

get used to it thats the converter working due to the car when you run thegas pedel to the floor the car runs full fuel thru it for max power mine still does it at 94000 miles this is a fact i had a Toyota eng fly out to my local dealer and hook into obd2 port while driving with me on the road never seen such a detailed description of almost everything on the car he is the one who explained this to me he called closed loop when car is driven normal then when you fully accelerate its goes out of closed loop and the car runs full fuel thou it without the computer controlling it for max power then the converter is trying to do its job and that creates that burning smell you call it i even had the converter changed out prier to this Toyota guy coming out to take the test drive with me car had 30,000 miles when cat was changed that smell only show up on hard acceleration right ?
