It's not hard to do. The longest thing was figuring out where to connect what once the locks where installed and the wiring done.

Sounds like you have done this install before was there any drilling or anything for the install???

Yup, there's some driling: the cable holders and the guides where to attach the actuator.
One thing: You will have to remove a piece of foam from the door inner cover in other to close the door... |

Yeah I was figuring that much. I could have swore there were already holes where the actuator needs to be placed. I could be wrong though the install had to wait till this weekend cause I ran out of time and what not. I will be doing it maybe tomorrow.

The solenoid is the only thing to do. But I'm leaving that part of the install until I get the crash fixed. No special reason really, but my spare time is kinda limited...

I'm guessing if it wasn't hard we'd have seen it already.

Yeah turned into a pain in my ass but after looking at this I am going to try it again. Let me say I have never done any kind of work like this before. I am a computer guy :). So check out this link
http://www.a1electric.com/cablelock.htm After looking that over I think I can do it so check that out. |

MrJester,
If I was not located on the western end of the state (Shenandoah Valley) I would give you a hand with the installation. So, any good events in the VA Beach area this summer? Later, blacksan |
