Once Again, Tein

okay, once more i'm asking about the Tein S.Tech springs. does anyone here have a set installed on their Yaris, specifically the sedan. i think i will be ordering a set from one of out vendors here very soon. i want to know your opinions on the S.Tech's. originally, i wanted to go with the Tanabe DF's, but some of you said that the rear is a little too soft, causing some rubbing when going over bumps.

also, who makes struts/shocks for the sedan?

since the springs for the liftback are the same for the sedan, i'm assuming the struts/shocks are too. so the TRD struts will fit?

Way too much $$$$$ Might as well buy the Tein Basic Coilovers. Someone had the Cusco's in the classified for 900. Help a fellow Yaris owner out and buy them off him. I wanted the S Techs for the spring rates. I never thought about rubbing, but thats a good point.

How is it too expensive? You can get the struts for $315 and springs for $140. Thats about half of the used coilovers you are refering to.

i would get a set of coilovers, but i'm not looking for that much of a drop. and that's still beyond what i'm willing to spend.

just curious, where can i get Tein's for $140? (if you were referring to Tein's). but i've also heard that the TRD struts don't work well with other springs? it was in a thread topic here????

I haven't seen the Teins that cheap. Every other spring is under $150 besides TRD.

The TRD struts will work fine with any lowering spring. I'm going to run them on my Springtech springs as soon as I pick them up next week.

Not sure where that price comes from but the lowest I have seen is like 750$ for both.

TRDsparks.com. They are a vendor on here. $318 for the struts, $180 for the springs. You can find them a bit cheaper if you shop around.

$318 isn't bad for the TRD struts comparing to what's around in eBay.

I bought my TRD absorbers on eBay for $265 shipped. Super cheap. They work great although I still wish they were a tad more stiff.

i had tein stechs on my 03 corolla, it was ok, never bottomed out. but i hear the basic coilovers suck. i hear the megan racing coilovers were better than the tein basic cuz the shocks suck on the teins. im going to get the trd shocks and springs cuz im getting them dirt cheap.
