NICE !

It's pretty! AND it's a COUPE, yea! I got a 2013 Yaris L 3 Door Coupe a month ago, it just turned over 800 miles today. It's name is Scruffy - Scruffy has a killer 6 speaker stereo that jams pretty good. Scruffy loves 1980s music...! This car is such a blast, you will love it. Congrats...!!!

Very nice! I have the same color. Give her a good wax with the turtle wax black box and it'll make that paint stand out so much, it's awesome :)

I was thinking of calling her Pearl actually. That settles it!

Thanks for the turtle wax suggestion. I think I've got a detail friend who could do a good job on that for me. ^_^

and Scruffy sounds like an awesome car like my Pearl! ;-P

I can't wait to try premium gas in her. I know it made my little matchbox Kia Rio run like a champ.
Anyone else here tried using that gas?
The Toyota salesperson I asked told me he said he'd recommend it and uses it in his Tundra.

Call her 'Mama's Pearl'

Mama's Pearl is a song off of the Jackson 5's 3rd album in 1970 - It was released as a single in January 1971 - I was just going on 10 years old!

Check out Honda599Girl on the 'tube' jammin' out the bass-line to this song, it is awesome!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URew5oZTiew

I have always called dogs & puppies 'Scruffy' when I didn't know their names...Totally appropriate for this awesome little car...!

Scruffy...!

I would name the car Taylor...a Unisex name b/c you still don't know if she will respond like a butch on the road of if she will be the "please let little old me merge in" on the freeway...

She's definitely female. The way she will go when she feels like it, it's adorable. I generally apply the same amount of pressure on my gas pedal when taking off from a red light. That doesn't mean she responds the same. Sometimes I think I catch her in the right mood and she gets all excited. Then sometimes I don't and she's like "I'm going, just calm down.". She's still in the break in phase though, so who knows. That rental we had, it was a guy. He would constantly be attempting to get into passing gear. It was comical. He was showing off for me maybe. ;-P

Questions:
Is there any benefit, besides looks, to installing one of the exhaust tips like the SE models have?
Will the TRD air filter be an improvement over the basic one?
What type of tires do you guys use? The ride seems like it could be smoother with better tires and rims.
Any other mods that won't void my warranty?

I'm pretty sure the SE model exhaust tip is all show. I have a Megan axleback, myself. (cant really say yes or no to performance since I have so much else done, though...)

if it's just air filters, the stock one is probably fine, but you could always go CAI if you wanted to change stuff up, but that brings the "do cold air intakes really give power" debate. lol

Tires and I aren't a good combination. I go the opposite route, so my ride is pretty harsh, so when i put the steelies on i think they're comfortable as hell.

I am really wanting the tail lights that are on the Yaris Trend. Where would I go about finding custom head lights and tail lights for such a new car? I've got so many plans...

I think you're referring the the Hybrid Yaris tail lights that are over seas in germany / japan (someone may be able to correct me on that, I think the hybrid has projector headlights and those tails if they did end up making the car) But, these ones, right?

http://www.caranddriver.com/photos-m...t-photo-477559

I think if they paint matched them to our color too, it would look good!

I don't think anyone has released any aftermarket headlights for us yet, but since I grew tired of the massive chrome piece on the top of our lights, I did this! It's just plain gloss black vynil I stretched on and cut to fit :)

Yes! Those tail lights are very nice, I love them.
I do think if they painted the inside to match the body color, It would be just about perfect. >_<

That is YOUR car? Oh wow, That's sexy. I want the eyelids so bad.
Do you think I should do them in gloss black or go with a red?
I'm just trying to make it look the way I'm visualizing.
I don't intend to lower it though, Nor change the tire sizes.
I just want minor visual or invisible performance modifications.

I can't wait until I get more money!

yep, thats my car :3 thanks! you can get vynil super cheap on ebay, so get some of each color and give it a shot! I went with the black because I wanted them to look like the came factory that way. pm me and remind me to send you a few links to the vinyl I like. I'm at work and my ebay app sucks lol

I'll message you tomorrow when I'm close to a computer.
Using the browser on my phone for the forums is a mess.
I should see if I can get someone to develop an app for us.
Think the owner/moderators would make this available that way?
Is this forum on Tapatalk? I looked but didn't find anything.

I think I'll end up going with the black too.
That is my favorite color after all.
I'd probably black out the lights if it wasn't illegal. LOL
I'm thinking maybe red is too loud for me.

It looks really good on some of the cars here though! ;-P
