How to remove Rear wheel ABS/Speed sensor?
I have a Toyota Yaris 2007 sedan and have been trying to get this ABS sensor of the rear bearing for a few months now, due to it being faulty and randomly giving me a Brake/ABS light signal on the dash, but have failed all methods.
A random pic of what the bearing looks like: ![]() The sensor is the black top part. I also used a vise, but it just scraped the ABS sensor and I still couldn't get it off. Any idea how to do it? |

They are pressed in and are very hard to get out. You would definitely need a hydraulic press to do so.
