OEM drum brakes vs aftermarket
Hi all, my 07 Yaris had 65k on it and I want to do the rear brakes. I purchased raybestos drums. Can I purchase raybestos pads too? I read in just answer a Toyota tech said only OEM pads would be quiet. I have had Wagner thermo quiet pads and beck arntly rotors up front since 35k w/ no noise. I would think w/ drums it wouldn't matter. Up front I would think it would matter but it didn't. I would also purchase raybestos hardware. Drums are getting squeaky back there.
