FIAMM 123db Horn Installed

FIAMM 'E' Freeway Blaster Horn (high tone - 132 decibels not 123 as stated in the thread title...i got dyslexic) with lifetime warranty installed today.

Easiest thing I ever put on this car to date...5 minute swap out using factory single wire harness...$12 @ Autozone.

FIAMM, an Italian company, is OEM supplier to Porsche, Ferrari, Alfa, Audi, and BMW among others.

I promptly threw that Denso goat bleating 4 oz. POS in the trash.

Check out the tone here:

I want one of those!

I did receive a $365. ticket for "unnecessary use of a horn" a few years back.

yes, when you road rage on an unmarked police car that sat through two lights talking on his cell phone and really lay on the horn until he gets out of the car yes at that point you are in trouble

he was threatening to take me to jail because I wouldn't sign the ticket for this, I tought he couldn't be serious, apparently it is a real offense

the hornblasters are cool but is there a place to fit these under our hood? your selection was probably a much easier install.

Hornblasters has pics on their site of a Civic and a Mitsu eclipse that installed the horns under the rear bumper....problem is the compressed air tank location. Most have it in the rear deck area.

Already had to use my new horn 3 X in last two days. This time the idiot that pulled out on me whipped to the other lane because of the new tone. Previously no one bothered to ever react when my old goat horn bleated.

p.s. check out the cat that gets blown off the sidewalk in this video from hornblasters. I love this!

Note to self: dont harass unmarked PD cruisers with little antenna thingies and big black steelies and a whole lot of bad attitude while they are on the phone blocking traffic.

I'll have to look into the FIAMM, the stock Yaris horn is rediculous. My motorcycle's horn is louder then that.
