A few people have done some deadening in their cars on the forum here
this is the one i read http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27361 If you believe the sound is coming from the wheel wells the most, you could try pulling off the plastic liner in there and spraying a can of bedliner inside the wheel wells and put it all back together and see if that helps |

Live with it. Get used to it. We all do.
Rare is the Yaris owner who takes sound deadening measures. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I know I bought Knuconcepts sound deadening material. I then gutted the entire car. I put pieces/sheets anywhere the sheet metal would resonate when I rapped on it from the outside. It was alot of work, but it really helped.
I also added sound blocking material between the door trim panels and the door shell. It helped with alot of the noise also. I did have to come to the terms with the fact, that is is a econo car and noisy. Quiet costs lost of money and time. |
