Can you guess which pair of brake pads had frozen slide pins??
So I finally got around to pulling my front brakes apart today. Here are some pictures of the old pads - Wearever Golds - after 70k miles. The passenger side has a single frozen pin.
I bought some cheapie $22.00 Wearever Silver pads to replace them because cheapie is cheapie and my wallet is happy. Now I'll have to wait and see if they make any noise like people warned about online! |

I have an '07 with around 68k on it -- original brakes. When they go, I'm going to replace with OEM. I haven't had good experiences with aftermarket brake pads, but you getting 70k out of the Wearever Gold's is impressive.
