Front wipers high speed not working properly

The high speed on my 2007 Yaris sedan stopped working properly recently. Normal speed and intermittent still work properly.

When I put the stalk ok high speed I do get some feedback. The motor noise gets louder but the wipers are not going any faster.

I dismantled everything down to the motor itself and the linkage system is not jammed or hard to move. The motor is still misbehaving when working alone.

Motor shot or I should look at something else before replacing it?
