205/50/15s on 6.5" wheel
Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone had a similar setup, I *really* want to run Yokohama Advan AD08R (had them on my Mini and fell in love), but they only some in 205 width. I am on Tein S Tech springs, and have ET40 15x6.5 wheels. 205 seems really wide for that wheel width, and I also have concerns about rubbing. Anyone wanna reassure me before I pull the trigger? Thanks, Matt |

I ran 205/50/15 on 15x6.5 +40 wheels when I was on coilovers. It rubbed a bit more than my 195/55/15 setup does now at full compression (e.g. over bumps). Just rubs the fender liner, though.

^^^ What Thirty-Nine said.
205/50/15 on 15x6.5, ET40 with Tein S Tech springs will work very well. |

Most 205 tires can be mounted on 5.5"-7.5" wide rims. So with 6.5" you are right in the middle. I run 205s on 7" and it's petty flush.
