touchy brakes
So, I think my Yaris could win the touchiest brakes in the world award. Barely touching them is what I have to do. Is this normal? I know the gas pedal is electronic. The brakes? Connector? They sure do work though.

Yes, it needs a lot less pressure than my other car, a Toyota Aurion (V6 Camry In other markets).
The Yaris has EBA (Emergency Braking Assistance) as standard, so it also applies the brakes harder as you press the brake pedal down quicker.

touchy
No, I just breathe on mine and they work. The gas pedal isn't much difference.
Reminds me of the time I drove a turbo sunbird with the boost control disconnected.it was tire fryin time! Anyone carjacker hops in my Yaris and I could stab the brake and make them fly through the windshield. |
