Type of music
This was probably a thread a while back but since we had so many new comers I was just curious what type of music everyone listens to. They say you can learn alot from people by the music they listen too.
I listen to alot of metal. Hardcore anything with a good break down no Black Metal or anything satanic. I alos like Cold old Staind, Killswitch stuff like that. |

I was listening to -the queen is dead- on my way in to work this morning. I have also been listening to chris isaak -heart shaped world- lately but my roots are mostly punk although at times I like listening to metal I am very selective when it comes to metal music.
I listened to a lot of electronic music in the 90's and I just don't like it anymore. Probably because my heroin and X days are over. I still listen to kraftwerk especially the first couple of albums from time to time. Oh and I gave dee lite -dew drops in the garden- a listen the other day. I still even like some of erasure's older stuff but they have just gotten way to gay for me in the last 10 years. I know, I know, they were always a gay band but they have just gone over board and I can't stand their new stuff. Yaz was always better anyway.

Yes. Every Wednesday night and Sunday morning for five years. They don't like the gays so I quit going. Still love the Jesus though. I listen to a lot of christian bands. I don't really consider Sixpence a "christian" band though. A lot of their lyrics are depressing yet realistic. I met the singer, Leigh Nash, and she was a delight. She is my all time favorite singer........of all time.

My sister use to work at a christian rock station here in Dallas so I got to hang out with a lot of bands. Superchic[k]'s music is sorta cheeky but they are THE sweetest people ever. Also, the Benjamin Gate. They have broken up but they are probably in the top five of my favorite bands ever. The lead singer is married to a wimpy "soft rock" artist named Jeremy Camp. I love Five Iron! In that same scope of ska I like the W's as well as the Insyderz. I never really liked the Newsboys music but they put on an amazing live show. I also like Morella's Forrest, Jennifer Knapp, Pillar, Glisten, Tree63, KJ52 (five-two), Disciple, and a ton of local bands from around here.
