Grammatical Nitpicking

The metal thing that yor tire goes around is called a wheel, not a rim. The rim is the outer part of the wheel. Just saying.

Thank you.... but I worked at a tire store for so long, and got used to ppl calling "wheels" tires and "tires" wheels.... or saying stoopid things like "need me sum rimz"...... "are them dubs?".... "will deez 22 inch rimz fit on my escort?"

you just get used to ppl being grammaticaly incorrect, when talking about wheels

You should check out the Urban dictionary sometime :)

"Rims" is simply a slang for wheels nowadays. Just like people talk about the "motor" in their car. Technically, it should be an "engine," not a motor (unless your car is a electric or a hybrid).
