Sounds like a rear seal going out for some reason, better get it checked out right away.
could mess us the pressure plate and clutch real fast.

Check your fluid levels and then drive to the dealer. You should still be covered under the warranty. Call the dealer, maybe they will tow if for you at Toyotas expense.

My 07 sedan had a similar problem. It turned out that it was a blown axle seal on the transmission. I took it to Toyota. They replaced it under warranty.
Hope this helps. |

Electric power steering, on the Yaris!!?????
Yes we do. Try this everyone, leave the car in the ON position, but DO NOT TURN THE CAR ON! Put the car into nuetral, and roll it up maybe two feet while moving the steering wheel, and see what happens! To spoil the fun, even with the car OFF, you have complete and easy turning ability of the wheels. This is something the car comes with so incase it wont start(cause you ran out of gas or something) you can atleast move it and not worry about forcefully turning the wheel. |

Ya know I never questioned it myself, when the other tech told me it was a power steering leak I thought maybe the system uses fluid anyway. I never bothered to check. I also havent had to work on the system on a yaris yet. I'm gonna ask him tomarrow what the heck he replaced again and see what he says. I apologise for any confusion, I just took what he said as fact and didn't ask questions.
