i can see how "hate" can come off as "jealousy," but since i can tell you haven't read what i wrote, i'll repeat what bothers me: you go off about all this shit you're doing to your (or whoever's) car, extensive motorwork, turbo, whatever. this would obviously get people excited and would want to see how someone very uniquely built this type of car. yet, when people ask to see it, you turn around and get all pissed off how you want it to stay a secret. oh, and i'm sure no one said anything because no one has the guts/care to do so.

cause i do help other yaris members personally to as in meeting with them.

7 Yaris showing for the very first meet wasn't too bad, but it would be nice to see a much larger gathering.
I was wondering if we should have a "SUBCOM" サブコム (sub compact) meet that would include
Yaris, Fit, Versa, Aveo, and maybe even the Smart? Older subcompacts would be cool, too - like Subaru Justy or something.

finally installed my 1zz tb after months of it sitting in my room. warm idle at 2500rpms, then within seconds drops to 2k rpms, and then idles smoothly at 650 rpms. Didn't adjust the idle screw, and I didn't switch the chips; I think i've lucked out....

Going to take it for a spin soon.

Well noogie tried the 2zz injectors, I believe, before he did the 1zz; He kept throwing CELs. He was running way too rich.

no he doesn't have the 1zz tb on his car. I thought the 1zz tb would make my car run a little leaner, but I believe because of my 1zz injectors, it hasn't been affected at all by it. I am still running 11.3-5 during open loop WOT. So yah, the 2zz would make it too rich.

I do plan on getting some type of fuel controller and having sean tune it. I just gotta stop being lazy and drive down to his shop.

Sometimes you gotta pony up some cash. I know i have paid $450 via fed ex and UPS before. It's safer and insured. I don't trust USPS for high ticket items such as rims. Lots of guys use fed ex and ups, to ship rims over $2k.

i just recently got my autometer cobalt series 3" tach setup. it matches the three that i added on the driver's side glove box ( boost, wideband, oil press). Now all my gauges are complete. it looks really cool at night

Not yet no 5 door available. They shoul be getting some in a few weeks but they are listed as 2010. =p I think they said September 20 something shoul be arriving.

I've been debating as I've got some 16"x8.5" +32 rims I was gonna sell cause they wouldn't fit on a venza or xd but now my option to go the vitz route I could keep these 4x100 rims. You think these would fit? Don't worry on tires I usually run stretched so hopefully will try to run some tires to not rub if it will fit.

I would but I dont have the time. With school and other lessons. The good thing with my current job is that I get payed a lot so I dont need to work that much and wont clash with my school and stuff.
I know I dont need to move out, but my parents and I both agree its a good time to. Im at a point in my life where I can experience what its like and if I fail then at least when I grad I will have a soild idea what is needed to get by on my own.

I need to repaint and do some body work on it hopefully some body kit. I'm still financially short so I might not be working on the yaris for a while but once I get something done I'll let you know.

because of the size, it's alot smaller then the xb. but yet i figure it would sell better then the yaris because most things are standard features with scions vs. toyota cars where everything is package deals.

I think i used 3.5 quarts when I changed my oil. Don't quote me on that. Just check your dipstick after 3.

Yup yup. I got a subi legacy now. Now so much as more power. It was just comfortable and bigger and auto. I bought it so my girlfriend can also drive it and I can help my mom out with her business soon.
