If you want to be serious and not a noob like thomas, get coilovers from the get go. :) Microimage sells cusco coilovers, just gotta ask them. it's not listed on their website. They are like in-n-out, they got a secret menu.

I normally don't drop my cars. But I think the first mod I plan to do is wheels and we all know wheels with no drop is like a fat lady with no pants. Just WRONG.
But looking at cars with the NF don't look that bad.
But when I get my yaris I'll see how much I can drop and still get in my garadge.

Only a few peeps on YW have gold wheels on white. I can only think of one right now. Definately no one in hawaii. I personally like the look of gold on white (sti).

I think it would look MEAN if you got the rota gt3 in gold. However, would not look good if you had a mild drop. Would actually look kind of cheesy and "ricer." If that makes any sense..

Anyways, go for it! Atleast you are getting aftermarket wheels.

Only problem is he is dropped on 1.8F/1.6R
So I will later photoshop so it looks like only a 1.1F/1.3R like the NFs
And the pics now is pretty much the same drop as DFs.

any you guys know anyone who has a stock tc? i like race. they put down 160 to the crank and 140 to wheels stock. They weigh 2900lbs. I got 133whp and weigh 2200lbs with the back seat out. I think I can hang. lol. shoots

Well I found a stock tc that is dropped with a intake and 2.5" catback. He lives in town. Hopefully i can meet up with him sometime. Maybe one of you townies (thomas,taka,casey) can film it and check it out! Know any good straightaways that are cop free in town? Shoots.

Hmmm straight aways? idk if still considered "in town" but the strip at sandy's is pretty smooth. have about 1/2 - 3/4 mile untill the first traffic light. cops hardly go there, but always the slim chance that they will be in the right place at the right time.
Other than that cant really think of places that dont have houses around them.
I would say Kealaolu, which is a pretty long, smooth road that runs from Kahala Ave to Waialae Ave (you can look on google maps) but there are houses and cop station at Kahala Mall.

i use a hydra ems now my stock ecu only controls the dash climate control and drive by wire everything else is a click away on a laptop since now it rolls with me everywhere my tc might be out on the cruise this saturday depending if the gf like go out or what even tho shes been getting on my case about finishing her car sho she doesnt have to drive mine around she complains cause it eats to much gas

still auto trans redone by kalakaua trans. hopefully wont blow up like my tc one did the first time
trans cooler
convertor been stalled to 3000 by kalakaua trans shop
still need some way to tune it but havent figured anything yet
still need an exhaust and boost controller and blowoff and wastegate

then motor can go back together

did order a bc stroker kit for the tc to bring it to 2.7l have been talking to bc to find out if i send them my cams if they can make me one to a custom spec and my crank so i dont have to worry about snaping it

yeah that me and yeah im pretty serious i go after not the usual suspects like the civics and integras and such i build cars to beat the supras the porsches the stis the evo and such
matter of fact went on a car cruise on friday with my tc and spanked pretty much all the tcs there and spanked a guy in an evo from the bottom of h3 to like 1/4 mile out from the tunnels dude said he never had to take his car that fast before just to try and keep up thats when i realized it needs more work so ordered some parts for it to bump it to over 700hp

they are but thats when they will be in stock they have a bunch on hand but the reason why weapon r isnt releasing it yet is because they gotta keep up with demand or not there going to be forced to delay alot of shipments but the employees there are able to get one if they need it good for me cause my friend has an xb but hes not into modifying engines so there for grabbed me one to throw on and play with before the rest of the market can get theres. but ill see if i can leak somemore of them out

i know the potential of this motor is better then anybody want to try plus to motor swaps are for pussies cause the amount it would cost to motor swap it you could have built the motor the same price and still have gotten it close. plus to motor swaps add weight which you dont really need and motor swaps sometimes break most the time jus because. but the block was sent out to be done on the mainland balanced crank was sent out the only thing that i did was pay for the parts and p&p the head plus to ive already invested maybe close to 15k+ including motors and trans and extra ecus axles and such else ive add to this package deal

Are the rods and pistons all original custom made or are they mass produced? I was looking all around for them but I couldn't find ANYTHING for the 1nz builds?

I originally wanted to go N/A build but i dunno I'm really considering turbo now hahaha

um they do mass produce it the rods are actually for an xb and block needs to be notched on the bottom alittle the pistons come in standard size 9.0 comp or a .5mm oversized in a .5 mm. go turbo alot more fun then n/a but rods are made by crower and the pistons are made by cp. u figure a simple setup with boost on a stock motor would be good but if you decide to up the boost later you need to build the bottom end hence why ive been talking with crower to see if they could build a 1nz bottom end along with actual rods that dont have to notch the block that will work for the yaris. he has made me custom pieces before for other builds it just takes time for them to come around with it but if this all turns out well ill prolly take the other spare motor i have build it and start selling fully built n/a or turbo motors for people in exchange for cash and there motor. depending on how much the build comes around to in price wise. i might try make a more straight shot intake manifold without bends to see how that comes out as straighter the better which isnt hard ive made itbs by myself so welding a intake pipe together shoudlnt be difficult

Well, i don't think motor swaps are for pussies, although i will say that in japan motorswaps and larger displacement swaps are not done very often. This project if it gets done will be impressive. Not all motor swaps add weight. Are you saying that when all is said and done your car will weigh the same as when you started?
Ultimately, as do the tuners in Japan, I prefer my cars balanced. Power is nothing without control.

well this aint japan so it doesnt do any good mentioning it. but bigger displacement motor like the tc will add weight. like being said if you took a honda hatch that came with a 1.5l motor and added a h22a perlude motor how will that not add weight hence why they change front brakes and front suspension off the car it came off of to compensate for the weight difference now if your swapping a smaller displacement motor like a 1.3 i agree it wouldnt add weight. thats like dropping in a 350 chevy motor but later upgrading to a 572 how will that not add weight. add yes motor swaps are for pussies because they cant build what the car came with so they have to add a bigger motor in order to compensate for there lack of ability. control you can still have control on a motor swap its called taking the front suspension off the original car and swap it out to the suspension that came off the car with the motor that your swaping in the balance will still be there thats how you obtain the balance back. yes car should weigh the same when im done all said and done its called trimming the body fat everything that is lighter will drop in weight there for compensate for some of the parts that arent lighter

Well, i don't think motor swaps are for pussies, although i will say that in japan motorswaps and larger displacement swaps are not done very often. This project if it gets done will be impressive. Not all motor swaps add weight. Are you saying that when all is said and done your car will weigh the same as when you started?
Ultimately, as do the tuners in Japan, I prefer my cars balanced. Power is nothing without control.

Hey guys, on a real tangent, I will be welling my Greddy Ti-C exhaust. I am waiting for my Tein coilovers to arrive and I will be dropping the car. I have tried my Greddy with a drop in the back already and it tends to scrape a bit. Other than a touch of scrape on the bottom, it is excellent cosmetic condition. How does $180 sound? Only used for a month. I am probably going to go with a custom made exhaust given I cant stand scraping! How is exhaust systems hawaii??

Any suggestions on a good exhaust shop with good service and reasonable prices???

gotta go to the other one thats why and tell them you like axle back and would like to add the flange so you can unbolt em if need to later on. midas does it to they did like 2 of my cars with the flange header side to the rear axle then flange and the duals out and that was on my crx with dual n1 straight pipe like 300 for all that but i did take mufflers down. esh did my hatch in waipahu just 3 in piping to single n1 with a my ecv pipe, my external waste gate pipe, down pipe, even mounted my bov to and intercooler piping for a 1000 but i bought the muffler from them which is like 250 in its self

yups its up and rolling i spent pretty much 11pm to 2 in the morning tuning this crap i think i got it to where air/fuel is stable and no to lean or rich. im at 12psi so far going try go higher i get at least 35% more on the injectors before i max them out this all on the auto trans not 5 speed

i would build the turbotoyotas kits. cause atleast that one comes with a garrett turbo i trust garrett more then what ever turbo they supply. all you need for that kit is fuel management and clutch upgrade puts down 8 psi approx 160-180 hp dynod and with the zage you still need the em and fuel injectors so there basically the same just the turbotoyotas offers a way more reliable turbo. cause inj all you need are 550cc you not going over run those and a wide band to tune and a good em
