Locked the car with keys inside
Can anyone show me how to open my Yaris without keys? I have tried inserting a thin metal bar between the windows but haven't been able to open it. Images would be welcomed. Thanks

I think the manual says you should break the rear rear hatch window, as it is the cheapest to replace.

or call any tow truck company and most of them do lock-out service...
locksmith or this, one way the other, has to be cheaper than breaking the glass to open ur car

Push your Yaris in a bad neighborhood and watch it being unlocked professionally and for free within minutes after you step away from it ;)
Seriously, call someone. Don't break a window to get in your own car. |

On my corolla I broke the quarter glass and got a replacement for 27 dollars. Lock-out runs around 50 bucks. I doubt the hatch is the cheapest glass.. lol

A friend of mine managed to open it. The method he used was using several flat spade things in between the door and stacked them until there was enough space to use a long wire thing to unlock it from the inside. Anyway thanks for the help.

Cool, but you can bend the door and the hinges that way.

Either find a set of jimmy-rig tools, or if you have factory power-locks, get a coat hanger.

He was a cab driver that had a fare to NY city. While in the city, he locked his keys in the cab in mid town Manhattan. (He liked to party) So he called a lock smith whose number he got out of the phone book. Long story short...... The locksmith wanted a ridiculous amount to unlock the door. So, being the street wise guy he is, he simply got one of the locals hanging out and they unlocked it for $10 and a beer. |

those lil trucks are pretty awesome.......least round here they used as farm trucks or utility trucks I think they only go maybe 35......40 mph. But I'm sure with a lil "tweaking" they could go a heck of a lot fast

If you leave your keys in the ignition or car running you CAN'T lock yourself out of a Yaris people!
That's *IF* you were'nt cheap and bought the power package. I've tried it and the power locks automaticly pop open, no matter what method you try to lock yourself out with.... BTW, in these parts of the woods, lockout can run ya $100. They just come with this little airbag thing they stuff into the door seam and pump up like a blood pressure cuff to seperate the door from the frame.....
