paint failure

I have 32k miles on my 2011 yaris hatch. The state bird of florida has eaten all the way through the paint ( lovebugs). I wash and wax my car about once a month, so it isnt as though I ignored the bug splats. I know others have had issues, but is there a way to doctor it rather than total repaint of the front bumper?

take it to the dealer, you should probably be under warranty. And the paint jobs done on the Yaris are bad in general.

sorry about the paint. I am not sure what can be done if its already gone. I have 68k FL miles on mine with no paint damage yet.

When I lived in Florida, my Camry front bumper and hood were destroyed by lovebugs! I learned you have to completely remove those darn things the moment you get home. If the damage is done, you'll have to repaint.

Florida's a great state, but I heard about those Lovebugs, and what they do to car paint! Sad to say that it looks like the front of your car will need a respray, but maybe the new paint will hold up better than the factory job.
