The RSB definitely helps with on ramps and switchback curves. However, I can still feel a bunch of understeer. It's weird, there is way more understeer than in the sedan. I know, I had TRD dampers in the sedan (using the exact same springs from the sedan), but the tires I have on Dory should be better than the cheap "generic" tires that I had on Vios.

Stiffness of the damper should have an effect as well. Using the same dampers? Been debating a rear sway bar but I'm honestly happy with the car's handling as is so haven't had much of a push in that direction.

I really only got the TRD RSB because TRD had that flash sale, and dropped the RSB price down to $113. I was tempted to get my FR-S the TRD sway bar kit as well, but decided not to since I had gotten it the NUR spec rear spats. Plus I rarely ever drive her now days. Lets just say the last time I got gas for her was right before new years. Gotta burn off that gas when I have some free time... |

Yeah I'd say it's the dampers. What coilovers were you thinking to go with? I would have liked to do some bracing to my hatch as well but it's my daily and I need to be able to load it up with whatever the day calls for without issues. Killer deal on that rsb! Now if they would get LSDs for our cars back and on sale as well...
I know how that can be with having a car sit. I don't think I've driven my MR2 in about two years now...Every single time I put away some money to put towards it, something happens and I end up having to use it. |

Can't remember, but the LSD probably wasn't on the list on the sale since I don't think the LSD is part of TRD North America. 2 years!? Aren't you worried about the gas in the tank? |

Yeah I'm just doing some wishful thinking on the LSD haha.
I'm completely worried about the gas in the tank. The only thing sort of keeping my mind at ease is that I have to drop the tank to change the fuel pump anyway so either way it's coming out and getting cleaned up. It's my never ending turbo project. |

Nice man! My MR2 still hibernates with stale gas and my Yaris is chugging along as my daily as well lol.

Replaced the Bazooka system with a Rockford Fosgate all-in-one box. Didn't take any pics of it tho. Haha

The Bazooka will be going back into Snow White, and the harness from Dory will be given to my friend (who I gave my broken, but easily fixed 100w Bazooka to).

How does the Rockford compare to the Bazooka?

Haven't really tried pushing the RF yet since I want it to break in after a few hours of playing.
But at the lower volume, I think the Bazooka can have more bass, but it sounds like it's basically one tone of bass, and "farty" bass at that. The RF sounds richer and cleaner. That's partly due to the sealed box versus ported enclosure, but also the amp is better on the RF than the Bazooka. The bass of the Bazooka is similar to the factory FR-S door woofers and amp (not a good thing), just louder. lol. The Bazooka can produce a lot of bass for being 50 watts compared to the RF which is rated at 300w RMS. I still think the Bazooka is a good buy (granted I didn't pay for either of mine) if you're looking for a simple and quick way to add some low end to your music. I actually think the 50w version sounds better than the 100w version. You don't need to run any cables through the firewall with either 50w or 100w tubes. I had to run a power cable through the firewall for the RF unit. I got the 10" hatchback style RF unit on sale for $200 with the amp install kit for free. So it was a great deal imo. I got it on SonicElectronix in case anyone is wondering. Crutchfield doesn't have it on sale, just the 12" versions which I did not want. |

Didn't get a chance to take pictures, but I got my old Megan lower tie bars back (they were powder coated a goldish color). Installed the front and rear, but not the middle. Does anyone know the size and thread pitch of the bolts for the middle tie bar? I gotta go buy them.
