Linear coilover springs with Bilstein B8s?

Does anyone know if it's possible to run a linear coilover spring (Swift, Hyperco, Eibach etc) with front Bilstein B8 struts? I'm struggling to find info on the stock springs to determine whether the upper and lower perch are the same diameter and could be used in a linear spring, and what size it is to determine the size of linear spring to get.

I'm sure someone has either looked into this or possibly done it before so any information would be helpful.
