Painting Inside Tail Lamp.
I received a set of replica taillights that were leaking. As i opened it up to reseal, i scratched off some chrome off the bezel. All i can think of doing is repainting it. i was thinking a dark color, but i dunno what its going to do to the effectiveness of the brake lights. Or if anyone can recommend some chrome paint in a can? What y'all think?

I do have a new set that I want to paint+seal, but I really don't want to screw it up this time. Any advice would be appreciated!

Well, i used a small knife and a heat gun. I started one edge at a time and worked my way around slowly heating and prying. Took about 20-30 minutes. I was lucky and it didn't crack. I dunno if i want to take the other one apart. What lights do you plan on painting?

I am planning on painting the same tail lights (the only difference is the plastic that you're holding... Mine is clear with a little tint).
Thanks for the info, BTW. I'll try to be more patient this time around.
