My new hand laid carbon fiber engine cover
It dosnt fit 100 percent perfect. Going to take it to work on monday where i have my tools and slightly sand the bolt holes. But so far the quality looks pretty good. I like that it has a clearcoat so it gives the carbon fiber that slightly 3d effect.

Great job! The cover looks great.
How many sheets did it take for full coverage?

That looks awesome. Did you just lay CF over the stock cover? How did you get it so glossy? Just wetsand the resin and clearcoat?

Well done indeed.
Question - Did you grind down the logo and VVT-I? There dosen't appear to be any indication of those raised elements manifesting through the CF.
