I ordered the base model

So it also has no radio. But does it have the two metal brackets so I can install my own deck?

^ Did it come with the metal brackets that hold, what would be the radio if it was there in place? I have a double din and need the metal brackets.

You are correct sir.

I dont know if it came with the two brackets. it has a cover where the cd player would be when you get the car.

Yuo will be happy with your Yaris. I am on my second base model, and still love the beast.

Peter, you don't remember what they charged you? They would list any extra parts and charge you for it I would imagine.

I really don't recall. I got the car for 12,500 out the door and knew it didn't come with a radio and was bare bones to the max! That's all I knew.

I bought mine through Crutchfield because the installation kit and harness was all included along with free shipping AND instructions. It took me about 30 min to install. Real easy. (I think I have the same deck as PPoop! What a koinkidink :))
