Drag Dr-5 Rim Project

Ok I didnt know where to post this... so Im Posting this Here.... I curently have 17in Drag Dr-5 Rims.. I know They are out dated. so im bringing them todate by polishing they to a miror shine here is what i have so far The first is what i got so far the 2nd is before and the 3rd is in progress...
so tell me what you think

you'll want to use 00 steel wool, then a powerball mini :)

wat to even it out and polish it i was gunna start hand wet sanding startin at 1000 grit going up to 2000 grit then use a buffing compound to polish

Ive been workin on this for like a week now the shiny one is the only one i got that far. the one with the grinder on it is the 2nd one i started this is hard work and costly too.

i used sandblast to get rid of coating, ball with 3m high cut polishing compound, then a 3m high polish compound on my boyd coddingtons....

all with a flitz ball

Im using the turtlewax rubing compound and i tried the 00 stut it look Steel wool but it makes it look like shittocky mushrooms. so im using my angle grinder with medium and fine pads and then the compound and it looks good.... good enuff for me for right now when i get back to pa where im moving back to i will do more to them

its called meshoppen 26 mins north of scranton on route 6
FYI the rim project is off i sold the rims and tires just to survive the week and than i should be up in pa by the 7th
