most tweeters that come with component speaker sets are 1"-1 1/2" Aside from that, there are also some pretty good speakers in the 3" range. The JBL GTO220 is one of my favorites, unfortunately, it's been discontinued, but it was a 2 1/2" 2-way speaker that mounted like a tweeter.

For that you can buy a pair of component speakers with crossovers and everything: http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=15509

It's too bad you missed out on their deal on the much better RCE-216's. I have them and the RCE-213's in the back. They sound amazing!

Here are all of their component speakers: http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...facturerID=624

Do you have a sedan or liftback?
