Center Cap Question

I'd like to replace my wheel covers with some chrome trim rings and center caps. How can I tell if these center caps would fit the Yaris's standard 15" steel wheel? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOYOT...essories#rpdId

I bought a couple pairs of this style center cap, one pair from this seller.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1996-...Q5fAccessories

The pair from this guy had 8 plastic clips spaced out evenly that held securely over the center protruding part of the 15in steel wheel. The other set I bought from someone else only had 4 clips, and was not as secure. I was happy with this look myself.

I searched ebay for Corolla Center Caps.

Here's another option. It's what I currently have setup on my car.

They are the stock steelies(take off hubcaps).... with trim rings (can be found at any autozone/advanced autos/O' Reileys for about $10-11 per wheel... keep in mind that you need 15" sized trim rings or whatever size rim you have if your not sure buy one try it out and if it doesnt work take it back and get the next size up!

Give your wheels a good ole scrub down before you put the trim rings on.... the key to this look is to keep your steelies as clean as possible. Once the rims and tires have been cleaned get youself some tire shine..... spray the tires AND a little bit on the rims... let the tires dry on their own but get a rag and smoothe out the oil on the rims so you dont get spots where the spray has dried.

Now put on your trim rings.... align the holes with the air stem ;]

As for the center of the wheels... you should already have chrome nuts... polish those suckers up....

and Personally I added "dust caps" from NAPA to the centers to clean up the look especially since the axle on the front wheels are visable.
The dust or "center" cap is from Napa's Balkamp catalog # 730-2411
they are only a dollar or two per cap.

When you get the caps they will be a little bit too large and will fly off... so you will need some 3m double-sided tape (home depot/lowes), one or two layers will do it... dont be shy with the stuff.... apply the tape on the inside of the cap... before putting the cap on... this will make it easier. Once the tape is on... press onto wheel... use a rubber mallet to get it all the way on there... (btw these are removeable but should stay on till you need them off... no need to take them off to clean your wheels.

annnd..... wa-lah!
your done.
