Which clutch to use for daily driver and track days?

hey guys

after my track day sunday i really need to uprate my clutch before i attempt another track day , these are the options i have , what do you guys recon

1 - Exedy stage 1

2 - SPEC clutch USA

also note , i planning to do the turbo conversion in the future , but for now im going NA until i can afford the turbo kit.

thanks guys !!

PS: will the 1.5 1NZFE clutch work on my 2NZFE motor ? i recon it will seing as the gearbox should be the same ?

i have heard terrible things about spec clutches. i would go with Exedy if you get a chance to.

Exedy, ACT or does Clutchmasters make one for us now?

I have Exedy, it's stiff and twitchy, and the Stage 1 is holding my power (for now).

cheaper clutches can be found if you buy ones for a 1zzfe and 2zzge.....same clutch, different flywheel

if you are still using it as your daily transport, i would suggest TRD clutch ( sport type, not the metal facing ) because TRD clutch does not increase the pedal preasure

I have an OEM 2ZZ-GE clutch in my Echo. Slightly stiffer pedal, but is 100% streetable and I can't slip it. I've got nearly every type of performance bolt on except for a SC or Turbo.

Or you can just order the pressure plate as it's the only real difference.

We've been using SPEC clutches on a number of cars here over the past few years, always with great success.

I have tried a number of different clutch companies over the past decade or so, and the only one I sell is SPEC.

Art recommends ACT, he's got that one on his 280 whp xB, works great.
