Microimage issues...

Recently purchased an H4 HID kit from Garm as everyone here raves about him.

Well, the HID kit is defective and trying to get him to return calls or contact me is getting a little bit frustrating.

Anyone else have these issues? Is it just my bad luck?

I would hate to not do business with him anymore as I am planning big things with my Yaris and would end up spending a pretty penny with his shop.

I always start out with something little to gauge how well they are with customers and so far a big, fat "F".

Thanks to anyone with any help....

Try calling him again or email. I've had pretty good luck getting many parts from garm. He's a busy guy.

He's been in Tennessee for Import Alliance. He is flying home now. (His home base is around Los Angeles, California.)

He is a good guy, I've spent close to $1,000 with him. Even had some defects and he took care of me.

He'll get back to you. It took him 3 days to get back to me about my rear bumper, but he did and admitted he'd forgotten about it in the back of his shop. It's a pretty busy time of year for him.

Yeah, he's good all around. Like they've said, he's pretty busy right now. I'd recommend him and his shop to anyone.

I also have not had much luck getting a response from Garm...I'm sure it is busy having a fairly small operation, and I'm not expecting miracles, but one thing I can't stand is a total lack of communication, especially on an online store that we can't even see the products. I'm not usually too weary about shopping online, and I have made an order with Garm and he did come through, but like I said, there was more to be expected with the communication. I don't think it will stop me from placing another order though, and seeing how it goes again.

Garm has a busy schedule, and like all of us, sometimes one is just not able to respond to emails for a plethora of reasons. Give the man a break, He'll come through. Otherwise, would he participate in this forum if he's trying to rip anyone off?

Chill out. You'll be happier down the road when you see that his prices are REALLY, REALLY good, and the service he extends is better-than-most, but always fair to his customers. Bottom line is, he cares.....

Like I said, I am planning on making another order with Garm, I am not trying to bash the man. I understand people have busy schedules, especially small shops like his. I'm just not a big fan of places that can't take 5 seconds to reply to an e-mail or a phone call in say, a week's time. If you have customers asking questions on orders that have been placed / in the process of placing, I think that would be at the top of your list as a dealer. If this is too much to ask, maybe I should look elsewhere? But like I said, I am going to make another order and see how it goes. I don't expect to be disappointed with all the praise Garm gets around here, and on MI online. I do have confidence in him, just a little surprised with the comms. point.

It's funny...

I had an order with M.I. past weekend/week, and received it promptly, including an email saying he was busy but would get back to me (he shipped the order instead :). Saved me $50 over the "competition", and product is niiiice. Probably couldn't have found it so quickly anywhere else.

yeah they have good service. He will take care of it.

I have no issues, and I asked a stupid question or 3 and he takes the time
to answer even before I ever spent anything there.

it is a small shop, but big on customer satisfaction
AAA+++ will buy again
