Custom Axleback - Pics and vid.

Here are the pics of my custom axleback. We simply cut off the OEM muffler and welded this on in its place. We were able to retain all the factory mandrel bent tubing.

I used a 2 inch Imco Turbo series muffler part# T-934. It is a center inlet / offset outlet. The Muffler core is 12" X 7 3/4" X 3 1/4". The total muffler length is 16", and the tip is 2" tubing with a slash cut.

This is quieter than a Magnaflow, with no droning. The change is barely audible in the car with the windows up. It gives a deeper tone, and better sound but not enough to attract any attention from the law. I have since painted the muffler and tip black, so it looks stock to anyone that isn't familiar with the stock "pumpkin" muffler.

Here is the video.

DAYUM!!!!!! That car went low when you sat in it.

On a side note, my friend drove my car away from me the other day. It really does sound like the Yaris commercials.

For those who might like to copy your custom muffler, what is the part # for the muffler?

Also, what is the length of the tail pipe (from can to tip)?

BTW, it looks so much better with the can painted black!

Very nice, low key exhaust. I really liked the paint job.
Did you notice any loss at low RPM's?

Thanks! There was no low end loss at all.
