Scion iQ debuts in New York

1.3 liter engine, CVT only. Looks good, though! Around 90 hp, high 30s for combined MPG.

if i can get a fully loaded iQ for just 13k.. When i said fully loaded i meant fully loaded, 6 speakers mp3, moonroof, power locks, power windows, power and heated side mirrors, AC, keyless entry...

i am soooo going for it on a lease.

The iQ doesn't share anything with the Yaris. It's a completely different car.

I like the iQ, but still undecided if I like it better than the Fiat. Guess I'll just wait and see.

Looking at the dashboard pic on your blog, it doesn't seem to have many cubbys or storage compartments. The main thing I notice is that center stack for the rotary HVAC controls. No pockets on the side, like the yaris. Is that storage between the left AC vent and the steering-wheel centered gauge pod? Or just more gauges.

I honestly really like the Scion iQ inside and out, but I doubt I would trade in my Yaris for one anytime soon. I still enjoy driving the manual transmission in my Yaris.

Wow, that black one looks sweet! I can't believe it has a back seat.
But no manual = no fun to me.

Want. Don't care if it's manual or not. Not that I know how to drive manual anyway...

no manual, no thanks. They blew it again on that one. At least offer both.

With that said, it's going to be someone's fun project to convert it and do a motor build on one.

To majority, driving a manual (excluding stop and go traffic), it feels as if...we are "actually" driving the car and have more control over the car's speed and gears during certain weather conditions.

The iQ - I'd look at....look at it...look at it.....and then finally walk away. When i see one on the road, I'd wave to it, then down shift and go bye-bye.
