The Daihatsu Charade 2013 is basically a re-badged Yari. Which is a shame it'll be another boring Toyota. Daihatsu are quick pocket rockets. These car rev to 7 grand N/A.That's grunt for ya stock, the old Charade have been a revelation are terriers on the TARMAC and tough as nails.

This is pretty old news. I actually have no problem with it since I (obviously) kinda like this particular car.
Now, if it were based on the 3rd gen, that would be an entirely different story.
Do you know if it will have either a 1.5L or 1.8L 1NZ-FE?

thanks astroman. from what was posted in the original article it sounds like it's only for emerging markets right now and probably pretty cheap. i've always had a thing for datsuns since my neighbor growing up had a real nice one!
