Poor MPG tried everything - need advice

According to torque, I'm averaging 40.8 mpg (imperial gallon) so about 34 mpg (US) on winter gas. This is about 75% highway driving. Neither I nor my wife are lead-footed. I expect an improvement in the summer.

Pretty good, if torque can be trusted. I find that the only true measurement is manually calculating with every trip to the pump.

True. I guess I would mainly loosely monitor that parameter in torque for significant changes in fuel consumption. Pretty much the same for other parameters like longer term changes in coolant temp, A/FR, voltage etc.

Haha. In my van, I can see a couple hundred L per 100 km if I stomp on it.

Haha, just makes you wonder how long it would take to drain a tank if you kept on it. The Lambda v6 in my van likes its fuel when tromped on, and it's obvious as this minivan is like a rocket despite being almost 2.5 tons.
