My sister use to work at a christian rock station here in Dallas so I got to hang out with a lot of bands. Superchic[k]'s music is sorta cheeky but they are THE sweetest people ever. Also, the Benjamin Gate. They have broken up but they are probably in the top five of my favorite bands ever. The lead singer is married to a wimpy "soft rock" artist named Jeremy Camp. I love Five Iron! In that same scope of ska I like the W's as well as the Insyderz. I never really liked the Newsboys music but they put on an amazing live show. I also like Morella's Forrest, Jennifer Knapp, Pillar, Glisten, Tree63, KJ52 (five-two), Disciple, and a ton of local bands from around here.

Yeah. I'm a hard rock guy, mostly, though sometimes I listen to a bit of techno, and OCCASIONALLY something more instrumental. A lot of soundtracks from movies that I get tend to be instrumental, but I love the whole orchestra thing.

Anyway, I'd say mostly I listen to Godsmack, Metallica, Drowning Pool, and everything around those. I do enjoy some harder stuff occasionally, but lately I've been listening to a lot of Audioslave, A Perfect Circle, etc. Oh, and Tool is almost always a win.

Don't do country. Ever. I'm not a big rap fan, but I've been listening to some Black Eyed Peas, and I guess they could fall into that category?

CATTLE DECAPITATION! Come on thats not a real band is it? Please pause while I open a new tab......OK it is a real band.

I listened to a couple tracks, crazy vocals (is that what he really sounds like?) crazy fast guitars, crazy videos. Not for me but it is interesting.

Those are the kind of bands that drain your soul. That is if you still have one.

Rock = Mana- Enanitos verdes- Fiel a la Vega- La Selecta- Robie "Draco" Rosa

Salsa = Hector Lavoe- Frankie Ruiz- Fania All Stars- Joe Cuba and others

Raggae = Bob Marley- Cultura Profetica- Capleton- and others

i have been listening to "freestyle" music from the late 90's. Coro, collage, lisette melendez, stevie b, lina santiago... and a bunch more. my mp3 is full of this kind of music.

I know who Bob Marley is.

You like Jimmy Cliff --- The harder They Come Soundtrack?

Never seen the movie but the soundtrack is excellent.

I just wish he never made that Don't Worry Be Happy song.
