You're confused, but that's okay. I do follow my rules. The TSB shows 20 weight for our engines, and I use 20 weight, and the UOA's show less wear then if I used 30 weight. Sure, the filler cap shows 30 weight, BUT the TSB which came out later says otherwise. I'm sticking with the TSB. As to 0W weight, I use that because at full operational temperature 0w-20 and 5w-20 protect exactly the same; hence the 20 part of those grades. The 0w on cold mornings flows to the upper parts of thje engine faster and gets to more parts of the internals faster.
