Eh. Only when I have the hammer down and some clown thinks I'm racing him and floors it.

But that's only because they always beat me.

Otherwise it's okay. Driving through parking garages and setting off car alarms by accident is fun.

A little off topic, sorry:

Would it be quieter by only replacing the OE muffler and nothing else? I like how it's stealthy, quiet, and low-key.

It will be the same. THe header did not really change the sound.

Nope, I don't. I didn't even find it annoying when I had a full cat-back on GTI that was 2-3 times louder than my Vios'.

Thumbs up

I had a Vibrant on my Neon and although it sounded SO GOOD gettin' on it, it did get old for daily driving. I'm getting the Tenabe Medalian Touring for my Yaris this spring. It's quiet enuff at low revs but sounds sweet when you crank it out.

Not at all. I have the TRD exhaust which is pretty quiet (not loud enough to make car alarms go off), but it sounds wonderful in parking garages like gideon said. I roll down my windows whenever im in them lol

After the novelty wore off, I hated my noisy HKS exhaust, I had to drive right on the brink of stalling when getting home late at night, had a few complaints from the neighbors

Now I'm more than happy with my Nitto setup, it's relatively quiet when driving normally, but when the throttle opens up, it sounds awesome, and yet not too loud

It is quite noisy, but darn do I love it! Doesn't bother me a bit.

I enjoy the tone of my TRD axle-back for regular daily commutes etc.
That said, if I was doing a long, cross-country trip on a thru-way I'd switch back to the stock exhaust since at 120+ kph (~75+ mph) I do find the TRD a bit intrusive. Below 120 it's no issue.

My TRD axle-back gets on my nerves sometimes. What's strange is that there are days when it is very quiet. Other days, it's booming at all RPMs. I am trying to figure out if temperature has something to do with it.
