It is not that hard to restrict what new members post. I do it on another forum and it has prevented 99.9% of this type of spamming from occurring. All it takes is to adjust the settings for new members, requiring approval to join and reviewing of new posts until they've shown they are here for the right reasons.

Anyhow, the Internet is full of porn; I can never fathom why people feel the need to splash it all over other forums...

Yeah I hope we can get something like that set up in the future, but it is quite restrictive to legit new members...

Oh and the porn was also a bunch of links to some other sites, so it was really spam with a layer of porn on top
