I think what he said was right ^^^^

It may be that they cracked one on the changing machine and it took 20 miles for it to come apart. The valve stem you see looks to be made of metal. The part of the TPMS on the inside of the tire you can't see is made of plastic. Easily broken, plastic. It could have been cracked and then the spinning wheel caused it to break loose.

Damn shame. I really wish we didn't have these things to deal with on our cars.
