I suggest a small turkey, some herbs and maybe throw in some veggies. If you're gonna have an oven you might as well make good use of it.

A turkey? Hell no. I'd go with maybe a whole chicken stuffed into a duck. Let it simmer from 12 noon until maybe 4:30 or 5:00. Go to class to with a bottle of wine in a cooler and chicken/duck in the back seat. You'll have a nice dinner waiting for you in the parking lot when lecture is over.
