Squeaky Transmission? 5MT

When had my car in for its regular 6 mo/8,000 km maintenance appt, i had them fix this issue. Just needed a little lubrication. All is fine now. :)

Well this issue magically re-appeared again on Tues night and has been off and on since then.

I actually asked a Toyota mechanic what the prob was, what was causing my shifter to be squeaking again when shifting into third and usually when shifting out of 2nd and 4th even.

He said that the shifter cables just need some lube, is all. Nothing really serious. When I take my car in for its 80,000 km at end of July, I'll have it taken care of then.

He said its nothing to worry abt, and that leaving it be until then wouldnt damage my car or cause any wear or trear (due to lack of lubrication).

(I just didnt feel like paying another $25 in labour to have it lubed today)

Ill deal with it / ignore it until next servicing in abt a month and a half.

Will update again once all is cleared up.
