I'm not really a bad guy. I'm usually nice to cats, dogs and even children. Believe it or not I've even been nice to old people a few times. I don't laugh at the misfortunes of others. BUT DAMNIT TO HELL MAN I CAN'T SEE A TOPIC ENTITLED "HELP! My cat peed in my front seat :(" and not laugh just a little. I don't mean to, it just happens.

Now I know that I wouldn't be laughing if it was my car and I really do feel bad for the op (once the laughter subsides). Someone please kill me, I probably deserve it.

HELP! A turtle peed in my front seat!

Seems if you try to rescue a turtle hold him out the window...

It's not a crime to hate cats. I learned to hate them when we got up to 6 of them. Took awhile to fix that situation....

Oh yeah! A coworker of mine rescued a musk turtle one morning on the way to work and found out the hard way where their name came from. His Mazda 626 stunk for months.

For real? You're joking, right? Haven't seen this much peeing being mentioned before in a forum

I wonder how the OP is doing with her seat?

I put 'em in the floorboard on the rubber mat. That's their normal defense.

No, I've been Yaris Hilton since I signed on here back in February, I think. I may be reminding you of someone else.

That'll change. I've started the beard for Christmas. I'll look like Santa by then.

OZONE MACHINE KILLS ODORS

To sum it up, through the winter, I dealt with it cause the smell diminished. Now that the summer months are starting to come up and it's getting very warm and humid, the smell returned.

I switched to Progressive Insurance on May 1st. They agreed to cover the cost and I just had to pay my $150 deductible. The bottom cushion replacement with labor came to around $420. They helped me out a lot and I am very grateful for them!

So thankfully, my pretty Yaris no longer smells of CAT PEE!!!

Ozone machines can be rented and kills all odors , spilled wine etc.

Nice.

I'm shocked that an insurance company would cover this though especially since it happened long before you signed up with them. Weird. And also the nature of the "damage". Didn't think insurance covered things like this.
