The car in one of my favorite TV shows caught my attention...

Actually, although Psych is suppose to be in Santa Barbara, CA it is actually filmed in Canada; hence the Canadian specs Yaris.

Then I had a chance to drive one as a rental car on a work trip, I fell in love but knew I had to get the hatchback (I also love hatches!). I also have a Jeep Wrangler so it evens out my gas mileage (37 MPG vs 16 MPG). I loved my old car, a 95 VW Passat wagon with a VR6; but after 125K+ miles on it, it was starting to show its age. Nothing major, but I knew I wanted a new commuter car and the Yaris just fit the bill perfectly!
