Garmin has the best path algorithm, which is what really matters.

no other GPS system will get you there faster.

I have road tested Magellan, TomTom, and Garmin and some type I forgot, all simultaneously (4 GPS with identical routes in the same car same time)....and overall on city streets, the Garmin always beats the others by
5 or 10 minutes, sometimes better than 30 minutes. on 5, 10, 20, 40, and 60 mile routes.

I mean...the TomTom really sucked. I am staring at the screen and following the route and garmin wold have
gotten me there already....yet I followed tomtom and burned off 20 minutes and half a gallon following it's crappy directions.

I like the way garmin draws maps too.

I have a Nuvi.

If I ever got an in-dash system, it must run Garmin. Kenwood does, I do not know if any others do...
