SQCOMP,
Firstly, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO AMERICA. Secondly, Have you thought of using spray foam filler to deaden the open areas under the chassis? I have used 8 cans of foam filler from Home Depot to NOITCEABLY remove a lot of road noise by filling the underbody framing areas. There are a bunch of hollow areas that resonate something fierce, and with the foam filler, it's very quiet. The trunk area under the spare has a lot of areas also. I found many in the engine area left and right of the motor, and the fender arches have many areas too. Undercoat spray on the front wheel thingies that are attached to the brake backplates make a bunch of noise on rough roads, and now are quiet too. These materials are far less cost than the RoadKill matting and also take your already quiet ride to a quieter stage.... Have Fun, and Again, Thank you for your contribution to America! Aloha from Hawaii! -bob |
