 Wow, this is interesting. Apple never leaks their secret new products. Looks really nice and I like the sharper look. The screen size doesn't look bigger though which t needs to be to compete with latest phones |

I figure it probably is since they went through the trouble to make a custom case that once put on, makes it appear like an iPhone 3GS.
I feel bad for whoever was responsible for letting it get out of their hands. (Gizmodo says that someone found it and Apple is saying that it was stolen, so who knows) Safe to say they no longer have a job though.

Yeah, I was gonna say, there is probably gonna be a job opening in Cupertino in the near future :/

The only way I can see it being a stunt is if they purposely made this prototype ugly (I think it's ugly) with the flat back, trim, buttons on purpose to lower everyones expectations so when they come out with the real version (which won't be ugly) everyone will be blown away and pleased with it.

You think it's ugly? I kind of like it. The final unit will probably look more polished, you know Apple, lots of eye candy
 but they do have to accommodate all the hardware in there and the larger screen, front facing camera. I note that some of the features seem to be borrowed directly from the N1.
