No CEL after 2 days and half a tank of gas.
Only have high idle on cold start for 20-30 seconds then its all normal operation.

Good to see a port-matching job! If I could do this on the cheap, I'd probably give it a go.

You would'nt happen to have any pics of the porting do you? I did the TB swap but just bolted on the new one w/o doing much else. (No CEL either.)

Both ways work. I have a 1ZZ TB with a 1NZ chip, no CEL. Just a high idle for the first 30 seconds or so.

I used the corolla TB and chip. Bought mine from FunctionSpec. It had a different part number though than what everyone else seems to be able to find. Mine was off of a 05 Corolla, no chip swap or idle screw adjustment.

Not at all: #22030-0D030

I found this by searching ebay right now. Although I paid about half that on here, but it's the only one with that part # I've found on here.

Astroman, did you experience abnormalities when the aircon kicks in?

While my car was stopping (with aircon on), i could feel jerking and my car moving forward even i stepped on my brakes..

And did you experience oscillations while driving?

I have the same throttlebody number as yours and have not done any chip swap or idling screw..

Going to try the chip swap soon....

No I haven't noticed any abnormalities except at cold idle startup, but I've only used the A/C once or twice. Once it gets HOT here (which will be next month thru august) I'll check it out more.

So its has been a week and still going great. One cel/code popped up which was a p0171(bank 1 system lean.)This only happened once on a 95degree day with high humidity the AC on stuck in traffic, cel turned off on it's own the next day so i am sure its because of the conditions that day caused the cel.High humidity not good.
