Someone on the internet just discover something that was missed by experts that have watched it in better detail than YouTube can offer and has been overlooked by the millions that have watched this footage?

Since a gun being discharged that close to you is hard to miss.
Jackie O kept her mouth shut for over 30 years about who shot her husband.
The 2 people between the driver and JFK did not noticed a firearm being discharged less than 2 feet from their heads/ears.
The secret service agent at the rear of the car never told anyone what he knew.
Everybody near the car, watching the motorcade, didn't hear that gun shot.
Our government is powerful enough, and cooperative enough, to keep this a secret.

You know if they really did unearth new info, it'd be all over the Net, at the very least, Tony.
The whole point is not to watch JFK, it's to watch the driver of the motorcade who puts his left hand over his right shoulder and shoots a gun in the direction of JFK.

I don't support assassinations in any way shape or form, nor do I enjoy watching brain fragments/blood/skin and whatever flying off in all angles. But I did find it interesting the view of this link http://s208.photobucket.com/albums/b...assination.mp4 and ask you to watch it just once.

Go on, it won't hurt you. Then tell me what you think.

I didn't say you did ...

The only reason I'm hanging in this thread is to make sure you guys don't beat each other over the head ... otherwise, I have absolutely no desire to click on the link, but thanks.

Yeah. I rant so much, after all.

It's the "off topic" forum - I think it's entertaining - all of it!

William Greer
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaJ
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Greer

The Presidential limousine shortly before Kennedy's assassination. Greer is in the driver's seat. Agent Roy Kellerman was in the front passenger seat.William Robert Greer (September 22, 1909 - February 23, 1985) was an agent of the U.S. Secret Service, best known for having driven President John F. Kennedy's automobile in the motorcade through Dealey Plaza in Dallas on November 22, 1963, when the president was assassinated.

History
Greer was born on a farm in Stewardstown, County Tyrone, Ireland, and emigrated to the United States in 1929.[1] After working for over a decade as a chauffeur and servant to several wealthy families in the Boston area, including the Lodge family, Greer enlisted in the U.S. Navy in World War II, and then joined the United States Secret Service on October 1, 1945.

Greer took a role close to Kennedy, and can be seen in several pictures with the Kennedy family. He chauffeured the president on many occasions, including the day of the assassination. Like all agents involved, he has been the target of much speculation and criticism for his actions on that day. He testified before the Warren Commission regarding the incident.

Greer retired on disability from the Secret Service in 1966 due to a stomach ulcer that grew worse following the Kennedy assassination[2]. In 1973 he relocated to Waynesville, North Carolina, where he eventually died of cancer. Greer's son Richard told author Vince Palamara in 1991 that his father "had absolutely no survivor's guilt."[3]

Analysis and criticism
Some commentators have criticized Greer's actions during the assassination, noting that he did not accelerate the vehicle to get the president out of danger as soon as he could have. In the confusion after the first shot was fired, the limousine's brake lights can be seen coming on briefly, slowing the car to almost a walking pace. The vehicle accelerated several seconds later, but by then the fatal shot had been fired. (Since that time, Secret Service agents have been trained to accelerate rapidly out of the area if they even think they hear gunfire.)

Greer did not discuss slowing the car in his statement to the FBI on the night of the assassination, nor did he mention this aspect to the Warren Commission during the official investigation. His testimony seems to deny that he turned to look directly at Kennedy during the shooting, although the Zapruder film shows him doing so. Secret Service procedures in place at the time did not allow Greer to take action without orders from senior agent Roy Kellerman, who sat to Greer's right. Kellerman has stated that he shouted, "Let's get out of line, we've been hit," but that Greer apparently turned to look at Kennedy, initiating a fatal delay, before accelerating the car out of the danger zone.[4] As Roy Kellerman told author William Manchester, "Greer then looked in the back of the car. Maybe he didn't believe me."[5]

Greer later delivered a heartfelt apology to Jacqueline Kennedy.[6] Privately, Mrs. Kennedy was bitterly critical of the agents' performance, Greer's in particular, comparing his efforts to those of "Maud Shaw" (the Kennedy children's nanny).[7] No agents were reprimanded or disciplined for their actions during the shooting.

Only one explanation... The official explanation in the Warren Commission Report was resolved... It must have been "The Magic Bullet"! LOL!

One may never know the true motives for assasination? Kennedy was one of the greatest 20th century US Presidents. He did have his foes, mainly when it came to foreign policy... Bay of Pics, Cuban Missile Crisis, and the beginnings of the Vietnam War to name a few. He believed in non-interventionalism and did not believe in empire building. He was starting to pull out the Vietnam advisors that were placed in the 50's during the Eisenhower administration. Many in the Military didn't want this to happen, as well as the Military Industrial Complex (MIC). Having his brother, Bobby, in the position of US Attorney General and advising him made many enemies also.

JFK was the first post WWII president who challenged authority of the newly created NSA (1947) and CIA (1953). You do that... well who knows?

My two cents...

Cheers!
