if your'e doing the 10mm inthe rear why not do the penguin spacer back there and not between the rim and drum.

the penguin spacer goes behind the backing plate. can be installed permanently in less than 30 minutes (assuming you inow what you're doing...), and dont damage/threaten the studs in any way. you can even go 13mm if you want
