You bought a Yaris in Dubai with no air conditioning?/your best bet is to take it back to the dealer and trade the car for something with air conditioning, the price you lose in the trade will be about what its going to cost to retrofit a factory air conditioning system.

Errrr dubai has had maybe one day in history where it hit 53 Celsius. Summer highs are around 47-48. Its constantly 43-44 here in the summer, and the A/C works fine for me.
Here is a thread on insulating one of the A/C lines, which is supposed to help with efficiency: http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...insulate+A%2FC Other than that window tint will help more than any upgrade you can do. |

53 degrees?!!!! dang, that's way too hot! Even high 40's C are way too hot for me!!
I don't have window tints but I use something very similar to this http://www.autoanything.com/driving-...A1228A0A0.aspx when I park my car, and it lowers the temperature in my car a good 10 to 15 degrees Farenheit. Personally, I don't think the Yaris has the greatest AC, so I don't use it too much, but out here near the ocean, the temperature is rarely over 40 C (inland is a different story). good luck to you!
